Goals - Gate Design
- Implement a circuit from a Boolean expression using mixed logic.
- Extract an expression from a gate level circuit implemented in mixed logic.
- Reimplement a gate level circuit changing the implementation gate selection.
- Understand correct connection of gate outputs and inputs.
- Understand the operation of pass gates and why they are needed.
- Analyze first-order combinational logic delay and energy dissipation.
