Goals - Boolean Algebra
- Derive standard sum of product (using minterms) and product
of sum (using maxterms) expression from a truth table.
- Understand properties (associative, commutative, and
distributive), identities, and reductions of Boolean expressions.
- Understand deMorgan's square and deMorgan's theorem and be
able to apply it to manipulate expressions.
- Understand the relationship between deMorgan's theorem and
the symmetry in pull up and pull down networks in switch level circuits.
